Agent Classroom, also known as Spy Kyoushitsu, is finally getting a television anime adaptation after approximately 3 years from the initial publication of the first light novel.
The announcement for the anime came during the Fantasia Bunko Online Festival 2022 in March. The news, while not wholly unexpected, was certainly well-received.
Sugio Art Online, a popular Twitter user known for Anime leaks, corroborated the news prior to the official release through a tweet in February.

Enthusiasts were thrilled to hear the news and it did not take long for the Spy Classroom subreddit to be inundated by anime aficionados.
Feel, the Japanese animation studio, is producing the new anime, while Keiichiro Kawaguchi is at the helm as director.
Spy Classroom Release Date Speculation
The new Spy Classroom anime will debut in Japan in January 2023. Unfortunately, we do not have a specific release date as of yet.
We do have the official Twitter account, providing us with the latest news regarding the upcoming anime.
Considering that the anime was announced in March, it is reasonable to think that the studio did not hastily execute the project, taking its time to ensure the anime meets fan expectations – a common criticism among fans.
One comment on a subreddit mentioned, “Considering past performances, the anime might not do justice to the LN”.

The series will air in January on Japanese television. As for the rest of the world, we do not have any official information, but it is reasonable to assume that Crunchyroll will simulcast the series in the United States and other Western countries.
Regarding the dubbing, since Crunchyroll and Funimation merged, we can expect to see the dubs in various languages shortly afterward.

Spy Classroom Plot Speculation
Since the producers have not yet announced otherwise, we can safely assume the anime will closely follow the light novels.
The story will focus on Klaus, the lone survivor of the spy team Inferno, as he sets out to train 7 misfits and teach them everything he knows in a month to prepare them for “Impossible Missions”.

“It’s refreshing, fun, and interesting. I would recommend it to anyone as a solid read. My only gripe is that characters could be further explored. I imagine that will change in future and it doesn’t detract from the story.”
